Points and credits

What credits are

Credits are prepaid units that pay for individual services on App444 — generating a business plan, requesting a review, buying a report, accessing training. Nothing else.

What points are

Points and badges record contribution and activity on the platform. They are a record, like a profile statistic. They are not currency and cannot be redeemed for anything.

What they are not

To be completely clear, points, credits and any future token are:

• Not shares or securities of any kind
• Not ownership of App444 or of any project on it
• Not an investment product
• Not a financial product
• Not a guarantee of profit, return or financial value
• Not legal tender or a currency
• Not transferable between users, unless we say otherwise in writing
• Not redeemable for cash

Buying credits is buying services in advance. It is not investing in App444 and gives you no stake in App444 or in any project listed on it.

Expiry, refunds and changes

To be decided before launch: whether credits expire, whether unused credits are refundable, and what happens to credits if the service closes. Australian Consumer Law applies to prepaid services and these answers cannot be left vague.

Pricing changes

The number of credits a service costs may change as the platform develops. Where a change is material we will give notice before it takes effect.

A future token

App444 has raised the possibility of a loyalty or token model in the future. Nothing of the kind exists today, nothing is promised, and no statement about a possible future token should be read as an offer, an investment opportunity, or a reason to buy credits now.
