Every project starts private. Nothing becomes public until you approve it. What other people see is a safe summary: enough to understand the idea, not enough to rebuild it.
Being honest about the limit: this reduces your exposure, it is not legal protection. For serious intellectual property, talk to a lawyer about NDAs and registration.
You choose, and you can change it at any time. There are three settings:

No. App444 is a platform, not a partner in your business. It takes no equity and claims no ownership of your idea.
Yes. Every document has an Edit this button. Change a word, a paragraph, or rewrite the whole thing.
Editing never overwrites. Each save becomes a new version and the old ones are kept forever. The version history shows every one — which was written by the AI, which by you, and when — and you can bring any of them back with one click. Even restoring creates a new version, so nothing you do can lose your work.
It is instructed not to, in strong terms: use only the founder's answers, invent no facts, figures, names, customers or traction, and where an answer is missing write “Not yet defined by founder” rather than filling the gap.
Read your plan before you use it anywhere. It is your name on it, and you can edit anything that is not right.
No. It is removed at a single point that every generation passes through — not in the prompt text, but in the code before anything is sent. That means even a badly written prompt cannot leak it.
On purpose. Every plan has the same ten sections in the same order. An investor reading their fortieth project knows exactly where to look, and two projects can be compared fairly.
The same logic runs through the whole platform: standard questions in, standard structure out, which is what makes filtering, comparing and matching possible at all.
No. That is the point. You answer 12 blocks of short questions — most of them tick-boxes and dropdowns — and the platform builds the business plan from your answers.
Around 20 to 40 minutes to answer everything properly, but you do not have to do it in one sitting. Every answer saves as you go, and you can close it and come back whenever.
Yes. The whole thing works on a phone, including the questions. Start on the bus, finish on your computer at home — it is the same account and your answers follow you.
Yes. Each one is its own project with its own plan, privacy setting and team.
Say so. “Not sure yet” is an honest answer and experienced investors respect it far more than a confident guess. You can come back and improve any answer later, then regenerate the plan.
In Block 9 you say which roles you are missing — developer, designer, marketing, finance, HR, whichever. Those become listings that contributors can apply to, and your project page shows the shape of your team with the gaps marked.
Whatever you agree between you. Block 9 asks what you can offer: equity, revenue share, cash, unpaid, or a mix. Say it honestly up front — the people who are fine with equity-only will say so, and the ones who are not will not waste your time.
Before real work starts, you and your contributors should put an agreement in place covering roles, hours, contribution, confidentiality and intellectual property. App444 prompts you to do it, but the agreement is between you — it is not something the platform enforces. Have a lawyer look at it if the project is serious.
No. Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is not being straight with you. App444 puts your project in front of investors in a format they can actually assess. Whether any of them invests is entirely their decision.
Because a list where anything can be listed is worth nothing to an investor, and therefore worth nothing to you. A project reaches the investor area only with all five: structure, private review, team status, a market test, and your approval.
It is slower. It is also the reason being listed means something.
Credits pay for things on the platform — AI plans, reviews, training, reports. Points and badges record contribution.

The questions themselves will keep improving as we learn which ones actually predict whether a project goes anywhere. Early users shape this more than anyone.
No. App444 does not verify what founders claim. Do your own checks before you commit time or money to any project you find here.
Yes. Your account settings include deleting your account, which removes your projects with it.
